Getting the best out of your phone: what to do when you are face with some problems

·        How to format phone and remove virus/ reset  settings

When your phone is tripping off, or can not send message, or battery drains faster, it  means  the phone is infected by virus such as : caribe, com warriors.

Solution

For Nokia phones: scroll to factory setting and press 1234 for old models and 12345 for new model, or *#747# to reset the phone

For Sony Ericsson: Go to factory settings and press 0000 and send

For Samsung Phones: to format Samsung S&E series press *2767*688# including 5500 and E700 models

For China phones: Go to factory settings and press 1234 0r 0000

·        How to remove unwanted signs

Cancel all call diverts on your phone : press ##002# in all phone

·        How to send text message from phone from your phone to Email (internet)

It is very simple. Type the e-mail address of the person, you wish to send the e-mail, leave a space and type the message and send to 3333. The entire length of the message should not more than 160 characters

·        How to change your pin code ( sim security)

To avoid unauthorized usage of your pin code, think of a new pin number of 4 digits which you can easily remember. Scroll to setting on your phone menu and press ok, select “security settings” yes / ok, phone display: PIN CODE request off/ on , scroll and select “change access codes” press ok, select change pin, then enter your fomer pin, and press ok

·        How to hide your number from people

Do you want to call somebody but somehow you don,t want your number to show on the persons screen?

Dial #31# with full number of whom you want to call

·         How to unlock phone yourself

Press *#06# to get the serial number, it is always fifteen digit if the phone is OK, start counting from left hand side, the first ten digit number is the master code but first check status to find out if sim lock is active

·        How to check phone lock status

#pw+1234567890+1# for provider lock status

#pw+1234567890+2# for network lock status

#pw+1234567890+3# for sim card lock status
